And your guest for this episode is none other than the show’s regular host, Russell French – Founder of Energetic Consulting, Co-Founder of Sunfluence, Solar Guide and Solar Social.

Russell has dedicated the last 16 years to being a leader within the renewable energy sector in Australia and Asia Pacific. Apart from having his own solar company until 2012, Sun Empire Solar Systems, and other electrical businesses from 2002, he has led some of the biggest names in solar. As a Director in the business he brought solar inverter manufacturer Enphase Energy ($360M) to Asia-Pacific and setup the company here. He was a senior leader with the City Of Melbourne’s solar program, and also with Red Energy ($600M) as a part of Snowy Hydro ($6B). He was a Director of Strategy and Marketing for the world’s largest solar inverter manufacturer, Sungrow out of China.

Russell is the Founder of Energetic Consulting, one of Australia’s leading support services agencies for the renewable energy, cleantech and solar industries. They specialise in marketing, sales and business management strategies, training and campaigns. He is the Co-Founder of the new start-up company Sunfluence, which supports the solar industry with marketing and sales automated support platforms, as well as Solar Guide – a 3rd party solar expert platform for end-consumers looking to go solar. In his “spare” time he also runs the social enterprise Solar Social, a solar networking meetup for solar industry professionals.
